Imagine: The product suddenly breaks or a part does not work properly. Then you are entitled to a warranty, of course! 'What a hassle!', you might think. If it is not clear how the device broke, you will quickly be sent from pillar to post. By joining the No Hassle Warranty of the Consumers' Association, companies promise you the certainty that problems with products will be resolved as smoothly as possible. We at leapp think it is important that our customers do not see the warranty as 'hassle' and that is why we are also affiliated with this initiative.
What is the No Hassle Guarantee?
Consumers often see guarantees as a 'hassle'. The Consumers' Association wants consumers to be in their right without any fuss when it comes to guarantees. Last January, the Consumers' Association launched the No Hassle Guarantee in collaboration with Thuiswinkel.org. The No Hassle Guarantee is in line with the statutory guarantee rules. This means that consumers can expect a guarantee settlement without any fuss. If companies do not comply with the rules or send you from pillar to post, the Consumers' Association will not leave you out in the cold. Every company that joins the No Hassle Guarantee agrees to be clear in its communication with the customer about the guarantee and to make every effort to cause the consumer as little hassle as possible when repairing, replacing or refunding a purchased product.

But what can you expect when you buy a product from leapp? We aim for carefree enjoyment. If something unexpectedly happens to your device, we are here for you. A device must, with normal use, meet the expectations you have of it. That is why leapp offers you a two-year warranty. If a defect occurs within the first two years that you have the device (which falls within the warranty), you are entitled to free repair or a replacement device. This warranty offered by us does not affect the statutory warranty provisions. The statutory warranty means that the product must meet all your reasonable expectations. Here's a summary of what you can expect from Leapp:
- Standard two year carry-in warranty on hardware and one year limited warranty on accessories (such as charger, case, cable, etc.). This carry-in warranty means that you are entitled to free repair or replacement of your product (with the exception of fall, impact or water damage). However, you must ensure that your device reaches leapp's technical service so that we can repair it. The costs for sending a repair to leapp are not covered by the warranty and will not be reimbursed.

Free returns for repairs . If a problem occurs with the hardware within two years after delivery of the product, please contact our customer service. After repair, we will deliver the product back to your home free of charge (within the Benelux).

As shown in the table below, private purchases at Leapp have a 2-year warranty. This applies to both refurbished and new. Business orders have a 2-year warranty on refurbished products and a 1-year warranty on new products.

The stated warranty period of 12 or 24 months is based on normal use. If a defect occurs within this period that falls within our warranty, you are entitled to free repair or a replacement product if repair is not possible.
A device must, under normal use, meet the expectations you have of it. Therefore, if the device shows a defect within 2 years that falls within our warranty, you are entitled to free repair or a replacement product if repair is not possible.
Sending your device to Leapp is at your own expense. We will send it back free of charge after the repair.

Problems with the following are covered by the warranty:
- Microphone/speaker (excluding dust or moisture damage);
- WiFi and network connection issues;
- Logic board problems;
- Touchscreen (when it is partially or completely no longer functioning)
- Buttons on the device
- Battery (if it drains quickly or becomes hot )*
The batteries in all iPhones have a minimum battery capacity of 85% upon delivery. If you notice that the battery is draining 'quickly' over time, it will be replaced free of charge if the capacity has actually decreased to less than 70% of the original charging capacity within the warranty period. The batteries in the MacBooks have a minimum capacity of 80% upon delivery.
*It is possible that the repair costs of your device will be higher than the value of the device. In that case, we will exchange your device for a similar model. If this type of model is no longer available, we will refund (part of) the purchase price or discount on a new purchase. In the latter case, this concerns a new purchase for which you will receive a new warranty on your new device.
In the event of an exchange, the warranty will always continue from the original purchase date of the first device.**
**If the device is defective again after a third repair attempt on the same part within the warranty period, we will exchange the device for a replacement. If this type of model is no longer available, we will proceed to a settlement on a refund of (part of) the purchase price or a discount on a new purchase. In the latter case, this concerns a new purchase for which you will receive a new warranty on your new device. **
What is not covered by the warranty?
- Defects after the warranty period of 1-2 years;
- Data loss and/or software reinstallation costs;
- moisture damage;

- Theft;
- Fall damage;
- Impact damage;
- Pressure damage;
- Any other form of damage caused by yourself or another person;
- Dust damage;
- Peeling coating on Retina Macbook screens;
- Refurbished iPhone devices are not necessarily waterproof, so we do not provide any guarantee on their water resistance.
- Maximum 3 dead pixels;
- Shadow LCD (MB and iMac);
- iPhone screen discoloration;
- Broken SIM card reader;
- Curved device;
- Broken camera lens;
- Damaged or dirty charging connector;
- Curved devices;
- Broken SIM card reader;
- Broken camera lens;
- Loose parts headphone jack / AUX Flex;
*If you have an investigation and/or repair and/or technical adjustment (for example replacing a battery and/or glass plate or investigation) carried out by another party, the entire warranty on the product will be void.
In case of fall, impact or moisture damage, we will fully charge the customer for the repair costs of the device. After the repair, the warranty on the device will be resumed.
The warranty will be completely void if illegal software is used without the manufacturer's brand.
Can I extend the warranty?
At leapp you will receive the most extensive warranty as standard! We fully support the quality of our products. That is why you will receive a standard 2-year warranty on all our refurbished devices, without extra costs (with the exception of accessories, which are guaranteed for 1 year). Business orders are guaranteed for 2 years on refurbished and 1 year on new.

Once the Apple ID has been removed from the device, we can register it for repair. You will then receive a message from us as soon as possible stating the easiest way to send your device in for repair (with the necessary documentation).
Please note: You can only offer your device for repair if the Apple ID has been removed. Make sure you have your Apple ID password at hand!
What happens if we cannot repair the technical defect?
If your purchases are made with us, you will receive a legal guarantee. For consumers, this is 24 months and for business purchases, this is 12 months. In the area of refurbished purchases, we also extend the guarantee for business purchases to 24 months.
If there is a defect (that meets our warranty conditions) with a product registered with us, we will do everything we can to repair it as quickly as possible. If we cannot repair the product, we will check whether a similar model is available. If this is the case, the device will be exchanged. If it is not available, we will proceed to a refund. The amount of the refund depends on the date of purchase. Below is an overview of the percentage refund based on the time of purchase.
0-6 months after purchase: 100% of the purchase price reimbursed
7-12 months after purchase: 75% of the purchase price reimbursed
13-18 months after purchase: 55% of the purchase price reimbursed
19-24 months after purchase: 35% of the purchase price reimbursed
How long does a repair take?
When your repair arrives at our technical service, it usually takes 14 working days to process the repair. If you have not received a status update after 14 days, you can contact klantenservice@leapp.nl
**MacBooks and iMacs take on average 1-2 weeks longer than other repairs.**
My iPad/iPhone/MacBook/Watch adapter is not working?
At leapp you get a one year warranty on the adapter and charging cable of your iPhone, Watch, iPad and MacBook. Cable breakage is excluded from the warranty.

What warranty do I get on accessories?
The warranty on accessories is different from the warranty on the devices themselves. At leapp you have a standard 12-month warranty on accessories, calculated from the date of purchase. If the products show a defect within that period and there is no fall, impact or water damage, the accessory will be repaired or exchanged free of charge.
What warranty do I get on repairs?
We provide a 3-month warranty on our paid repairs.
Damage or defects caused by the user are not covered by the warranty. This includes moisture damage, damage to the glass plate, fall damage and any other form of self-inflicted damage.
If you have another repair and/or technical adjustment carried out by third parties, the original product warranty and the warranty on the repair will expire.
If you have your device repaired at Leapp within the warranty period, the warranty remains valid from the original date of purchase.
