The clicking sound was much more a sign that you were pressing a key than the feeling of the key going down. Compared to a Pixelbook, the MacBook is still louder, but the 16-inch with the classic keyboard mechanism sounds duller and less loud than MacBooks with butterfly keyboards. We don't think anyone will complain about the noise level of either, however.
Video and audio
The audio is better than you would normally get on a laptop. But is the audio as good as the webcam quality? Not really. The audio is great, but the webcam is very grainy. Many people could film a quick video with that, but an improved camera would be a welcome improvement in a future MacBook iteration.
Unlimited power
Clearly, you can spec the MacBook Pro 16-inch all the way up with some great hardware. A whopping 8 cores, a graphics card with 8GB of memory, 64GB of RAM and 8TB of storage bring the price tag of the new MacBook Pro 16-inch in the most powerful configuration to a staggering €7,684! Now, these specs might be a bit of a stretch for the average person.
Conclusion
The MacBook Pro 16 inch is a laptop where it feels like Apple really listened to its users. They said goodbye to the failed butterfly mechanism in the keyboard, improved the sound, the touch bar, the bezel and crammed the 16 inch flagship full of technology to lick your fingers. The fact remains that you almost have to take out a second mortgage to buy the MacBook Pro 16 inch. So unless you are a real heavy user of computing power, you are probably better off with a more wallet-friendly alternative .
