Receive messages and phone calls on your other Apple devices
With this smart setting, you can also receive messages and phone calls from your iPhone on all your other Apple devices, such as your iPad or Mac. This way, you'll never miss a thing, even when your phone isn't nearby. To set this up, go to "Phone" (for calls) or "Messages" (for text messages) in the Settings app. Then choose "Calls on other devices" or "Forward text messages" and select which other Apple devices you want to receive messages and calls on. Simple and super convenient!
Store audio messages indefinitely
By default, audio messages in the Messages app are automatically deleted after 2 minutes. Quite annoying if you want to listen to a message again later. Fortunately, you can easily change this so that audio messages never expire. To do this, go to Settings > Messages and scroll down to 'Audio Messages'. Under 'Delete', select 'Never'. This way, all your voice messages will be saved until you delete them.
Protect your data with the erase function
Your iPhone contains a wealth of personal information. To prevent this data from falling into the wrong hands if your phone is stolen or a stranger tries to break in, it's wise to set up a wipe function. You can do this in Settings under "Face ID (or Touch ID) & Passcode." Scroll down and select "Erase Data."
