1. Ignore anonymous calls

Annoying, huh, peoplewho call anonymously ? You can also turn this off.

  • Go to your Settings app
  • Then go to Phone
  • Select “Silence unknown callers”

2. Make calculations faster

Your iPhone has a great calculator, but you always lose it. Want to make calculations faster?

  • Swipe right on your home screen, lock screen, or while viewing your notifications
  • Enter your calculation in the “search field”. You will see the result immediately on screen!

    3. Use your flash for notifications and messages

    If you don't want to have a sound go off, but still want to be informed about new messages, you can use your flash for this.

    • Go to your Settings app
    • Go to Accessibility
    • Go to Audio/visual
    • Enable “LED flash on notification”

    • Go to your Settings app
    • Go to Safari
    • Select “Close Tabs”
    • Choose after how much time you want the tabs to be automatically closed

    5. Create your own text messages when you dismiss a call

    • Go to your Settings app
    • Go to Phone
    • Go to “Reply with text message”
    • Create your own “I'll call you back later” message here

    6. Make the keyboard smaller to use it with one hand
    • Hold down the globe on the keyboard
    • Select the right or left handed keyboard

      7. Be more economical with your battery

      Apple has developed a feature to extend the life of your battery and adjust charging to your habits

      • Go to settings
      • Go to Battery
      • Go to Battery Condition
      • Turn on “optimized charging”

      8. Scan documents into your notes

      There's a handy way to scan documents into your notes;

      • Open the Notes app
      • Create a new note
      • Click on the plus sign above the keyboard or the three dots in the bubble at the top
      • Select “scan documents” or “scan”
      • Take a picture of the documents
      • Turn the pages, iPhone will automatically recognize the new page

      9. Edit a screenshot

      • Take a screenshot
        • On/Off + Home Button on iPhones up to 8 / with Touch ID
        • Power + Volume on iPhones X, XR , XS , 11, and 12 / with Face ID
      • Press the small print that appears on the screen
      • From here you can resize, crop, annotate and much more
      • When you're done, tap “Done” or tap the “Share” icon to send via email, messages or AirDrop

      10. Use your keyboard as a trackpad or mouse

        • Press and hold the space bar
        • Move your finger on the keyboard like a trackpad
        • When the cursor is where you want it, let go!
